Abstract

The Upper Cretaceous deep marine deposits in NE parts of Žumberakcontain sediments deposited by bottom currents - muddy, sandy andsandy-gravelly contourites. The complete (negative-positive) sequencesand incomplete (negative-positive) sequences have been observed.Apart from the sediments that have been deposited by bottom currents,several turbidite layers reworked by bottom currents occur.
